So as we know, Kebaya is a sign of Indonesian women. We believe that Kebaya is indeed as strong nationalitic symbol that is already been a tradition since a long time ago. But nowadays, not only Indonesia has Kebaya. Other country also has a similiar cloth like Kebaya. We can see that in Flight Attendace from Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines also used a unifom that similiar with Kebaya. We also can see there lot of design that similiar with Kebaya, for example, Kate Middleton's wedding dress.
People from another countries appreciate Kebaya, so for Indonesian teenager, what are you waiting for to use it and be proud of it ?
Then we think that Kebaya is a strong nationalitic symbol. but as we know, Kebaya is a little bit an old style cloth that isn't attractive for teenagers. So we suggest, to save the Indonesian traditional cloth, we must try to modified Kebaya. So, the teenagers will interest to use it in their daily activities, not just at school and ceremonial events.
Why we think Kebaya is an old style cloth ?. Because, usually Kebaya used by old ladies. That's why the teenagers feel old when they use Kebaya. So by modified Kebaya with the new style and it more modern, we belive that can change the pinion about "Kebaya is an old style fashion"

We rarely see theenagers around 10-18 years old use Kebaya as a formal cloth nowadays. They usually use Batik and casual cloth. They use Kebaya if there is only as Kartini's Day or in a wedding event. Usually we see person who use Kebaya in television is people above 40 years old. So that's why some people think that Kebaya is an old style fashion. But, with a little more creativity, Kebaya can be more modern and more attractive to use with modern style.
